Charles Schwab & Co, Inc. is currently the custodian of our clients' accounts. Deposits to the accounts should be directly sent to Charles Schwab & Co. by checks or wire transfer. Also, Schwab will send checks when you request to withdraw funds from your account. The custodian does not permit your funds or securities to be transferred to the accounts of other individuals. Each account is insured under the coverage of the Securities Investor Protection Corporation (SIPC). SIPC does not protect investors against losses in the securities markets.
Schwab places the electronic version of each account statement on its website that the client can access, and/or it can send the statement by regular mail if a client prefers. In addition, the clients will get confirmation notices for trade executions in their accounts and consolidated 1099 tax forms and other tax documents each year.
